介紹 Introduction
中央研究院社會學研究所香港主題研究小組自2023年12月起逐年主辦或與國外機構合辦「香港研究走向全球國際研討會」，使香港研究成為全球關注的新興領域，也讓台灣更有條件扮演樞紐角色，推動跨國的香港研究對話。
在今年的會議中，我們將試圖探討：在全球政治格局的演變，以及香港社會於後疫情時代所面對的急劇變化之下，應如何理解香港研究的諸多新議題？包括，面對貿易戰陰霾與地緣政治變局，香港作為國際經貿中心的角色將如何轉型？香港社會對此又如何回應？另一方面，離散港人如何面對移居地的社會變動？離港與留港社群之間的距離是否日益擴大？在此情況下，我們能否持續維繫對話與相互理解？
The Third International Conference on Global Hong Kong Studies will return to Taiwan, hosted by the Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica, on December 4–5, 2025.
This year’s conference theme is “Resilience and Transformation” and will feature over 120 paper presentations on governance, diaspora, history, literature, popular culture, religion, and more. We warmly invite you to join us in reflecting on the possible directions of Hong Kong studies in times of change.
